So like everything in 2020, it has been a hazy unclear picture of what hockey was or should be for this season. Covid-19 has changed how high school sports are approached and hockey has been particularly hard to manage.
Last year, all games were ended just shy of the highly anticipated Finals game between the underdog Bedford Bulldogs and the Concord Tide. NHIAA awarded each team the co-champions moniker, but this shared accomplishment will only make this years team more hungry for a solid title.
Tryouts started late this year, and games are only anticipated to start January 15th. Those familiar foes like Pinkerton and Concord keep coming back, and this years team will have to battle both on-ice and off-ice challenges to get to a Finals berth under a tight game schedule.
Where will we be come March is anyone's guess, but Bulldogs persevere and we are keeping an eye on them for sure.
